# RecapManga

> RecapManga is two AI studios on one account. The Recap studio turns the manga or manhwa panels you're reviewing into a draft recap & review script in minutes: it reads every speech bubble with visual OCR, assigns each line to the right speaker, and drafts narration in your chosen style, so recap, review and reaction creators can focus on their own commentary. Originals Studio runs the other way: it turns an original script you wrote into an anime, manhwa or manga chapter with consistent characters, performed voices and a finished video cut. It is a fair-use-first creator tool, not a place to read or redistribute comics.

## What it does
- Reads manga, manhwa, manhua and vertical-scroll webtoon panels with multi-pass visual OCR (dialogue, narration and sound effects).
- Automatically assigns each line of dialogue to the character who said it — no manual tagging.
- Drafts a recap & review script in one of five styles: Commentary, Educational, Humorous, Narrative or Dramatic.
- Generates optional AI voice narration (Voice Studio, powered by "Sonic" credits) with 60+ voices and word-level SRT captions.
- Exports scripts as PDF, TXT, Markdown or SRT.

## Originals Studio (make your own anime, manhwa or manga)
- Open to every account. Paste a chapter you wrote (prose, screenplay or a rough summary, up to 1,500 words); the studio reads it, builds the world and casts every character with a designed reference look.
- Cast Memory: you approve each character's design once, and every shot afterwards is rendered against it, so characters stay consistent across shots and chapters. Nothing is drawn until you approve the cast.
- An AI director stages the chapter shot by shot; you can recreate or reword any single shot, or group the lines into images yourself in Director Mode.
- Voice follows the pace you choose: a narrated script is told by one narrator, the full script is performed by the cast in their own voices.
- Output: a finished video cut rendered in the browser, plus an editor project (stills, audio and a pre-cut timeline) for Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. Styles (15 looks): anime, manhwa, manga, Chinese anime (donghua), photoreal live action, romance webtoon, retro 90s, painted watercolor, noir, ink and wash, cyberpunk, dark fantasy, cinematic 3D, stop-motion and soft pastel.
- Everything the studio makes for your own story is yours to post, monetize and print.

RecapManga is built for transformative, fair-use creation — reviews, commentary, education and original work. It proactively blocks commercial series, enforces per-chapter panel limits, and shows a fair-use score on every project. Users are responsible for staying within fair use; these safeguards are designed to help them do so. RecapManga is not a manga reader and does not host, sell or redistribute comics.

## Pricing
- Scripts run on Mana credits: 1 panel = 1 Mana, and a typical chapter is 15–25 panels.
- Cheapest entry: the Small Mana Potion at $5 (about 4 chapters) — one-time, no subscription, and Mana never expires.
- Monthly subscriptions: C-Class $12, A-Class $25 and S-Class $49.
- Voice narration uses a separate credit called Sonic.
- Originals Studio is pay as you go with a third credit called Ink: no subscription, Ink never expires, every step shows its price before you press it, and a step that fails returns its Ink. Packs start at $10 for 1,000 Ink.
