About RecapManga
RecapManga is an AI studio for people who make transformative content about comics — reviewers, commentators, educators and original creators. It is a tool, not a publisher.
What it does
It turns panels you supply into a script, then optionally a voiceover, then optionally a finished video. Every output is a draft meant to carry your commentary, analysis or criticism — the part that makes the work yours and makes it transformative.
What it is not
RecapManga is not a reader. It does not host comics, it does not redistribute them, and it has no library to browse. You bring the material you already have the right to work with, and the tool helps you say something about it.
Fair use, built in rather than bolted on
The creative tools sit behind a one-time fair-use attestation, and the guidance for staying on the right side of transformative use is written into the product rather than buried in a policy page. There is a copyright and takedown process, and a counter-notice process alongside it.
Two studios, opposite directions
Recaps works from comics that already exist. Originals Studio points the other way: you write a story, and it builds the world, casts consistent characters, stages the shots, performs the voices and cuts a finished video — art you own outright, with no source material involved at all.
