Sonic credits and the Voice Studio
Sonic is the credit that pays for voice. You spend it per character of speech, so a short chapter costs less than a long one and nothing is wasted on silence.
Two engines, two rates
The Core engine covers everyday narration and dialogue and is the cheaper of the two. The Ultra engine is the higher-fidelity option for work where the performance carries the video; it costs considerably more to run, so a Sonic buys proportionally less of it.
Performed line by line
Every line is performed and timed to the moment it belongs to, so the audio lines up with the panels instead of needing to be nudged in an editor. Edit one line and re-perform just that line — the rest of the chapter is left alone.
Subtitles included
Any performed chapter exports a timed .srt subtitle file, matched to the recorded speech rather than estimated from the text. Drop it into your editor or upload it beside the video.
